About Me

I was born in Burnaby but spent most of my youth in Surrey. At fourteen I moved away from home to Vancouver Island to pursue my passion for hockey and further my education. I attended Shawnigan Lake School where I graduated with a Double Dogwood diploma after studying in both French and English. While at Shawnigan, I played for the hockey, basketball and rugby teams.

After my high school sports career, I moved on to play in the BCHL and the PJHL, playing for the Surrey Eagles and Ridge Meadows Flames. Once I finished my junior hockey career, I began post-secondary at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, there I discovered a passion for writing which led me to discover the broadcast and online journalism program offer at BCIT. This led me to apply and later enroll in the program following suit to reports that have influenced me like John Shorthouse and Chris Faber.

Along with my passion for writing and sports, I have a passion for scouting and covering the drafts in the NHL, NFL and NBA. I enjoy giving analysis on and discovering up and coming players that may not be on everyone’s radar. I am currently set to graduate from the BCIT Broadcast and Online Journalism program in the spring of 2025 and am currently working on content creation for my own social media account Dream Sports Media. My dream is to continue building my own brand as well as working with other major media outlets and sports teams worldwide to provide scouting and player and game analysis.
